The community of Burnt Store Lakes is deed restricted and golf cart friendly with mostly custom built homes. A Large community park for our monthly potlucks or reserve for a family picnic or function. Park has several pavilions as well as a playground for the little ones. Many sidewalks for biking or walking and if you want peace and quiet take a walk along Bear Branch Creek into the park along the winding creek. Community also has 11 freshwater/brackish lakes that are filled with fish, many birds and wildlife. Also we have a community canoe/kayak launch for our residents. We are lucky to live across the street from Burnt Store Marina, the largest marina in SW Florida, with 500+ in water slips, dry stack and outside storage and a boat ramp. Marina also has a 27 hole golf course with 2 on-site restaurants. If you head in to the Historic town of Punta Gorda you will be pleasantly surprised how quaint and charming the town is. There are many shops and restaurants that have outside seating for meals, cocktails and many offer nightly live music. Just outside the main part of town is Fisherman's Village with restaurants and lots of great local shops all with fantastic views of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River. ALSO SW Florida offers some of most beautiful sunsets around. This could become your "Little piece of Paradise". I've always said, Come for a visit and stay for a lifetime!!
